Derek and I have started working on jams for our outdoor summer extravaganza (note to all you coppers we gon’ be playin’ at da beech mon). I can’t share them though, because these ones need to be perfected so as to explode upon the populace in a shower of orgy power.
Have you played Resident Evil 5? I’ve been absolutely floored by its presentation value. Evil pharmecutical corporations make for the most sinister zombie plots ever.
I’ve been considering the implications of social networking and being connected via the web, which has been partly responsible for my lack of presence lately. While technology enables us to connect in ways otherwise prevented (by things like distance/time), I’ve begun to question the qualilty of the connection. And when it comes to mass social networking (ala facebook), I’ve begun to question whether the connected-ness with friends outweighs the entertainment value of my trials and tribulations being posted all over the internet.
I do plan on catching up comment wise and post wise (Dan I hear you about the juana post), but not right now.
I have not played Resident Evil 5…I have a lingering dislike for RE that I will spare everyone from a rant about. But, I am always glad to hear about a new good game.
Also, I know what you mean about weighing the value of connectedness and the implication of posting too much of your life on the internet. I always struggle with what exactly to post and what focus to take. I can say that I am happy you’re posting again.
