I’ve been listening to a lot of Can lately. Can can can everywhere, hide it from the man – Oh Yeah and the Paperhouse jam.
I also went to a really interesting bar in Dinkytown last night. The place is called the Kitty Kat Club, and is located underneath Annie’s on 14th. The decor is random but coordinated, if that makes any sense. We saw a few bands play that were alright. All in all it was a good night. Oh, and the chaptain n chokes are very strong there.
An interesting bar to say the least. I think it’s a coffee shop during the day.
I was only there once, and I left promptly when I heard the out-of-tune band and there was no beer in sight. I’d be willing to give it another try, but hopefully I’ll see some better music next time around!
I’ve only ever seen really strangely dressed people come out of there. Not that is a particular reason not to go (also, it may not be a representative sample), but I think it is safe to say the bar draws a particular crowd. But, hey if you can see good live music…who cares?
